Animal Welfare Inspector (Night Shift, One Night per Week) – Nijkerkerveen

As an Animal Welfare Inspector (Night Shift) in Nijkerkerveen, you play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care for poultry during nighttime operations. Your main tasks involve overseeing the unloading of chicks, checking for any injuries such as trapped wings or legs, reporting abnormalities, and making sure all animal welfare guidelines are strictly followed. You work independently but are always part of a team that values responsibility and dedication to animal care. Your shift runs from 22:00 to 06:00, giving you the flexibility to organize your daytime activities as you like. You’ll be supported in a clean, modern environment with clear procedures in place so you can focus on what matters most: animal wellbeing. If you have at least basic English skills at A2 level, you’ll feel comfortable handling instructions and communicating with colleagues. This job is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in animal welfare and enjoys working at night.

• At least 1–2 years of experience, preferably with animals (poultry)
• Strong sense of responsibility and accuracy
• Willingness to work night shifts (22:00–06:00), one night per week
• Ability to work independently
• Affinity with animal carenBasic language skills are sufficient for this position – understanding simple instructions and the ability to communicate at work.

You will be working in the poultry sector with a company based in Nijkerkerveen, known for its high-quality fresh and frozen chicken products, delivered daily to customers across Europe. • A gross hourly wage of €18–€20, paid weekly
• Free transportation to work by car or traditional bicycle. If you choose an electric bicycle, the cost is €6 per week
• SNF-certified company accommodation at €129 per week (double rooms) and health insurance at €39.35 per week
