Installation of steel structures

We are looking for a field service technician to strengthen our client’s team. The job involves assembling steel structures, stairs, railings, and fences at construction sites. The work primarily takes place in The Hague, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, within a maximum one-hour drive from Oudewater.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of steel structures (stairs, railings, fences) at construction sites
• Collaborating with other technicians and engineers
• Using tools and aerial work platforms while following safety regulations
• Preparing the worksite and maintaining cleanliness
• Reporting work progress and any issues

• Motivation to work outdoors, even in challenging weather conditions
• No fear of heights
• Category B driver's license
• Experience with aerial work platforms (certificate or willingness to obtain one)
• VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proficiency in the Dutch language (for safety reasons)
• Knowledge of metalworking is a plus

Since 1969, our client has been a leading steel company based in Oudewater, specializing in steel, stainless steel and aluminum products. With about 35 well-educated employees, they provide customized solutions and are certified to VCA and CE EN1090-1 standards. Their in-house engineering department handles the complete design process, including 3D modeling and BIM methods. They offer state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and are able to assemble steel structures, stairs and balustrades on site. Customers can rely on fast delivery of custom steel, including various machining options and an in-house delivery service.

• Salary €19 gross per hour
• Free transportation by regular bicycle up to 7.5 km, electric bicycle (7.5-15 km) cost €6 per week, above 15 km transportation by car
• Health insurance at a cost of € 39.35 per week 
• SNF-certified company accommodation at €119 per week - double rooms, or €134 per week - single room
