(Process)Operator Packaging – modern food production company (Geldermalsen, The Netherlands)

As a Packaging Operator in Geldermalsen, your shift starts with a short handover within the team. Together you review the results and key points from the previous shift, so you know exactly what to expect.You’ll operate, adjust, and optimise complex packaging machines while monitoring product quality and process efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust and fine-tune packaging machines
• Solve first-line technical issues and perform autonomous maintenance
• Take and check product samples
• Optimise the packaging process according to OEE, SMED, and 5S principles
• Actively contribute improvement ideas – your input is valued and implemented

We’re looking for someone with technical insight, precision, and responsibility.

Must-haves:

• MBO (secondary vocational) level of education
• Experience operating automated packaging or production machinery (SCADA/PLC)
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• Good command of English and basic knowledge of Dutch
• Own accommodation in or near Geldermalsen

Nice-to-haves:

• Completed Operator training or diploma
• Analytical mindset and strong focus on product quality

• Salary between €2.500 – €3.200 + 22.5% shift allowance
• 76 extra (ADV) hours per year + 4.5% year-end bonus

Morning: 06:45 – 15:15

Afternoon: 14:45 – 23:15

Night: 22:45 – 07:15 (starting Sunday evening)
