Employee of a sewing workshop

As a Tailor Shop Worker, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining workwear that is essential to the daily work of professionals. Your tasks will include repairing various garments, such as jackets, overalls and coats, and restoring them to full functionality. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that each repaired piece of clothing is sturdy, safe and ready for year-round use.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintenance of work clothing
• Perform alterations and repairs to restore full functionality of garments
• Ensuring the quality and durability of repairs
• Working independently and as a team to ensure the efficiency of the tailoring processes
• Maintaining order at the workplace and observing health and safety rules.

• Experience working with industrial sewing machines
• Ability to repair and alter workwear (e.g. jackets, overalls, coats)
• Precision and attention to detail
• Knowledge of different sewing techniques and materials used in workwear
• Knowledge of English or Dutch at a level that allows communication with the team
