Foreman (Teamleader) – at the Freezer

As a Freezer Warehouse Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of the team and ensuring the smooth running of logistics processes, particularly order picking. Your goal will be to support warehouse operations, ensuring that daily plans are met and motivating employees to achieve the best possible results.

Responsibilities:

• Share responsibility for planning warehouse occupancy in accordance with operational objectives.
• Coordinate and monitor logistics processes in the freezer.
• Ensure daily reporting and achievement of established performance and quality metrics.
• Implement new guidelines, procedures and solutions according to customer requirements.
• Conducting interviews with operators and monitoring the quality of their work, including periodic evaluations and ongoing support.
• Recording possible damages, reports and irregularities and further reporting them.
• Deputizing for supervisors in their absence, according to their competencies.

• Experience managing a team (10+ people preferred) in a logistics environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions with limited information and tight deadlines.
• References from previous employer - mandatory
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to think innovatively and implement practical solutions.
• Knowledge of WMS systems and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Communicative knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch will be an added advantage.
• Experience in conducting employee evaluations and supporting team development.
• Knowledge of HACCP and refrigerated warehouse safety procedures.
• Self-reliance, initiative and willingness to work shifts and in cold temperatures (-23°C).
• Flexible approach to working hours - no “9-17 mentality”.
