Logistics Employee / Shunter Laundry – Internal Transport (T/C License) – IJsselstein

Are you ready for a hands-on role in logistics where you keep the process running smoothly? As a Logistics Employee / Shunter at our laundry site in IJsselstein, you are responsible for loading and unloading containers for transport. Making sure the containers are in the right chronological order is important, so everything can be unloaded efficiently at the next stage. Your main task is to drive a small truck (no public road license required) back and forth between two locations just 500 meters apart.

A typical day involves loading clean laundry into containers at location 1 (the laundry), driving the containers to location 2, and carefully parking the truck. There, you unload the clean laundry and prepare it for final transport. You also take care of returning dirty laundry containers to the laundry for washing. This is a job where you mostly work independently, but you will interact with colleagues at both locations. You are allowed to drive with a T license on the company premises, even if your C license is not valid for public roads. It is important you can reverse the truck safely.

• You have a T or C license (C license does not need to be valid for public roads)
• 1 to 5 years of experience in logistics or a similar environment
• You can reverse a small truck safely
• You are attentive, can anticipate, and show adaptability and assertiveness
• Basic language skills are sufficient for this position – understanding simple instructions and the ability to communicate at work (A2 level)
