Steel Construction Assembler

As a steel construction worker, you are responsible for assembling steel structures, stairs, railings, and fences at customer locations. You perform various tasks, such as working at heights using lifts and scaffolding. You operate assembly materials, ensuring their technical condition. You work both independently and as part of a team to find the best solutions for clients. You comply with safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment on the construction site.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of steel structures, stairs, railings, and fences
• Working at heights using lifts and scaffolding
• Operating assembly materials and ensuring their technical condition
• Collaborating with the team and clients to find the best solutions
• Complying with safety regulations and ensuring safety on the construction site

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• No fear of heights
• Driver's license category B
• Proficiency in the Dutch language at a level that allows communication with the team
• VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain it)
• Knowledge of the metal industry is a plus

Since 1969, our client has been a leading company in the steel industry located in Oudewater, specializing in steel products, stainless steel, and aluminum. With approximately 35 well-trained employees, they deliver custom solutions and are VCA and CE EN1090-1 certified. Their in-house engineering department handles the complete design process, including 3D modeling and BIM methods. They offer modern production facilities and are capable of assembling steel constructions, stairs, and railings on-site. Customers can rely on quick delivery of custom-made steel, including various processing options and their own delivery service.

• Salary €19 gross per hour
• Free transportation by regular bicycle up to 7.5 km, electric bicycle (7.5-15 km) cost €6 per week, above 15 km transportation by car
• Health insurance at a cost of € 39.35 per week 
• SNF-certified company accommodation at €119 per week - double rooms, or €134 per week - single room
