Hatchery Worker

As a hatchery worker, you will be responsible for various tasks throughout the entire hatching process. This is a diverse position in which you will work with eggs and newly hatched chicks while ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and animal care. The position is full-time, based on a 40-hour work week, and takes place during day shifts from Monday to Friday. Some tasks involve physical work, therefore a good physical condition is important.

• Placing eggs into incubators for the hatching process
• Monitoring, candling, and vaccinating eggs during incubation
• Inspecting newly hatched chicks and preparing them for transport
• Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and hatchery areas
• Maintaining hygiene and quality standards throughout the process

• Communicative English or German language skills
• Good physical condition and willingness to perform physical work
• Attention to detail and hygiene
• Ability to work responsibly with live animals
• Motivation and reliability
